At the meeting, we continued to discuss about the draft co-management regulation, starting with article 16 of Chapter 6 on the penalty scheme. Again, each article was discussed, adjusted according to the comments of the group and had to be approved by all before going to the next one. So far, at the end of the meeting, we agreed on Article 16 – 23.

During the meeting, the issue of shared governance was raised. It was emphasized that the Red Team should have certain recognized rights to fulfil their mission with back-up from the local authorities. The Red Team will be officially introduced at the signing ceremony as well as at other information events. Furthermore the function of the Co-management Board and its regular meeting scheme after the signing of the regulation were also explained.

For the next step, there will be several meetings with all members of the 2 sub-groups to introduce the draft regulation and to listen to their feedback for its final revision. It was agreed that the meetings next week will be on Wednesday 26^th of June, starting at 8 am with sub-group 2 and starting at 11 am with sub-group 1.
